Cooking for the Family – Mexican Cuisine for High School Students (Yrs 7 – Yr 12)

Mexican food is fresh, vibrant and full of flavor. In this class you will make flour tortillas, Mexican style grilled steak, and all the sides and accompaniments required to build their own burritos. At the conclusion of the class you will enjoy the fiesta you have created! You’ll also receive all the recipes so you can cook it again at home.
Length: 1.5-2 hours (doors open at 9.45am)

Venture into the deep south with Chef Renee, where you will learn to recreate the fabulous smoky spiced flavours of Texan cuisine. You will make your own spice rub and personalised BBQ sauce for your slow-cooked beef brisket, along with jalapeno poppers, chipotle mac and cheese, and all the sides and accompaniments to make this a full-on Texan feast.
