Julie Goodwin’s Cultural Cooking Series – Vibrant India

In this series, Julie Goodwin will take you the countries she has travelled, to eat the food she loved in those places. These are a sit-down, demonstration-style class. All of the food being demonstrated will be served.
Known for its vibrant flavours and bold use of spice, Indian cuisine varies widely from region to region. In this class, Julie will take you on her travels through several regions of India and their cuisines. Watch as Julie demonstrates how to cook traditional dosa, samosas and bhaji; biryani, butter chicken and naan; and all the traditional sides and accompaniments that are served at an Indian banquet. As you watch these dishes being created, they will be served to the table for your dining pleasure. At the conclusion of the dinner and class you’ll be given all the recipes, and you’ll go home with the know-how to create your own vibrant Indian feast at home.
