Australia Day with Chef Renee (Primary School Students)

This class is strictly limited to Primary School Students (Years 3 – Yr 6)

Get the kids involved in Australia Day by cooking some iconic Aussie treats. In this class students will dip their own lamingtons, make Vegemite and cheese scrolls, and Anzac biscuits.

Length: 1.5-2 hours (Doors will open at 1.45pm)
Type: Hands-on class, then enjoy the goodness created

Budding Bakers

Budding Bakers with Leah – Kinder to Year 2

This class is strictly limited to Infant School Students (Kinder – Yr 2)

A shout out to all budding bakers! Join Leah for our beginners bakery class, especially designed for children kinder to year 2. In this class our budding pastry chefs will make a variety of sweet and savoury pastries including favourites like jam wheels and pastry twists

For this class we need an adult to stay onsite, the grown-ups will be treated to coffee and a baked good in the lounge while the kids have some baking fun.

Length: 1 hour (Doors will open at 9.45am)

Baking with Chef Renee – Primary School Students (Yr3 – Yr6)

Let’s get baking! In this class students will dip their own lamingtons, keep them traditional or perhaps get colourful with 100s and 1000s, we’ll make scrumptious pizza muffins, and also Anzac biscuits.

Profiteroles with Chef Renee – High School

In this class for high school students you will learn to master the art of choux pastry and crème patissiere. You will pipe and fill your profiteroles and make two delicious sauces to serve them with. You will take home all the recipes and your wonderful creations!

Who’s in the bikkie tin with Chef Renee (Primary Yr 3 – Yr 6)

There’s something so lovely about the aroma of baking biscuits in the house. This class is for budding bakers – you will learn to make three different types of biscuits, taste them, and take home a great selection for your family to try. You’ll also take home all the recipes so you can make them again and again!

Sweet and Savoury Baking for Primary School Students (Yrs 3 – Yr 6)

Sweet and savoury baked treats are on the menu in this delicious class. Pizza muffins, zucchini slice and white chocolate and raspberry muffins can be regulars in your house once they have been mastered in the Julie’s Place kitchen. After the class students will take home the baking they have done, along with all the recipes needed to recreate them again.
