Portuguese Feast with Julie Goodwin

Enjoy the punchy flavours and aromas of Portugal with Julie Goodwin. In this class you will create spiced flattened chicken, peri peri sauce and chimichurri, mussels with chorizo and all the sides and accompaniments to make this a filling and memorable feast. At the conclusion of the class you will share the feast you have created with a glass of wine.

Chicken and Chorizo Paella with Chef Renee – High School

This class is strictly limited to High School Students (Years 7 – Yr 12)

Learning new and interesting ways to put dinner on the table is an important life skill for teenagers. In this class Chef Renee will teach you how to create a traditional paella using equipment and ingredients you can easily find. You will enjoy the meal you have created and you’ll take home the recipe so that you can become the star cook in your household.

Length: 1.5-2 hours (Doors will open at 9.45am)

Lebanese food is all about freshness, flavour, and sharing at the table. In this class you will learn to make a mezze plate with treats like baba ghanouj and hommous, as well as home-made flatbread, chicken tawouk and lamb kafta with toum.

When we have finished cooking we will share the feast, along with all the usual sides and accompaniments. You will leave with all the recipes so you recreate a deliciousness Lebanese Feast at home.

Cooking for the family – Chicken Burritos with Chef Renee – Primary Yr 3 – Yr 6

This class is strictly limited to Primary School Students (Yrs 3 – Yr 6)

In this class, students will learn to make their flatbread from scratch, marinate and cook their chicken, and then bring it all together along with all the essential accompaniments to make the all year round family favourite dish. At the conclusion of the class students will sit down together to enjoy their burritos, and will take home all the recipes from the class.

Length: 1.5-2 hours (Doors will open at 9.45am)

Knowing how to cook is a skill that will set kids up for a lifetime of good eating habits. In this class you will learn how to cook an Indian meal the whole family will love – butter chicken and flatbread. At the conclusion of the class the kids will enjoy the food they have created, and will receive all the recipes so they can do it again at home!
