Welcome to the world of sweet delights as you learn all you need to know to create decadent and eye-catching desserts. You will not only learn three classic desserts, you will also  learn a range of techniques, tips and garnishes to dress any dessert up for a special occasion. At the conclusion of the class you will enjoy a light lunch with a complimentary glass of wine, you’ll taste some of your creations and take the rest home.

Winter Warmers

There’s nothing better than the smell of warming winter food drifting through the house on a cold afternoon.  In this class you will learn to make Cape Malay chicken curry, and spiced pumpkin soup.  You’ll take home the recipes and lots of ideas for other warming, budget-conscious and reheatable meals.

HOMEMADE TAKEAWAY

Learn to make your favourite fast food so you can make it at home!

In this 2-hour, hands-on cooking class you will make a Thai takeaway favourite, red duck curry with curry paste from scratch. You’ll then sit down and enjoy it with your classmates for dinner.  You’ll take home all the recipes and the confidence to make your favourites, from scratch.

Lebanese Feast

Lebanese food is all about freshness, flavour, and sharing at the table. In this class you will learn to make a mezze plate with treats like baba ghanouj and hommous, as well as home-made flatbread and a variety of hot and cold dishes.

When we have finished cooking we will share the feast, along with all the usual sides and accompaniments. You will leave with all the recipes so you recreate a deliciousness Lebanese Feast at home.

Join us in creating some of the street food favorite’s of Indonesia. Learn to make delicious nasi goreng, char-grilled beef skewers with authentic satay sauce, chicken rending and gado gado. When you have finished cooking you will enjoy what you’ve cooked along with a cold beer or a glass of wine.

Who doesn’t love a high tea, with dainty edible treats and a glass of bubbles? In this class you will learn to make sweet and savoury bite-sized morsels including the lightest scones you’ll ever try. You will also learn how to make your own tiered presentation stands from mismatched op-shop treasures.

A lovely idea for a hen’s night or birthday celebration, after we cook we all share the treats we’ve created with some good coffee, real tea and of course, champagne. You will take home the extra goodies, the recipes from the class so you can recreate at home.

There’s a lot more to Mexican food than tacos and nachos!  Take a deep dive into this delicious cuisine and hand-make your own empanadas, fresh tortillas, chicken mole and even churros.  Not only will you learn all this and more, at the conclusion of cooking you will sit and enjoy the feast with a cold beverage.  You will also take home all the recipes, and the knowledge and confidence to cook it all up again for your crowd!

Of all the deliciousness that comes from France, desserts are the jewel in the crown. In this decadent class, Chef Renee will show you how to make the true classics. Paris-Brest is a delicate combination of choux pastry, praline cream and hazelnut praline; you will learn silky smooth Crème Caramel and an apple Tarte Tatin. At the conclusion of the class you will enjoy a light lunch followed by some of your delicious creations, taking the rest home.

Try a night out with a difference! Tapas are small shared dishes of (usually) Spanish appetisers, traditionally served in taverns. In this class you will learn to make a range of delicious hot and cold tapas, and learn recipes for two types of sangria. At the conclusion of the lesson you will enjoy the feast with a complimentary sangria, wine or beer. Not only will you enjoy such treats as sizzling Spanish garlic prawns, Jamon croquettas and tapenade crostini (among many others), but you will go home with all the recipes and confidence you need to recreate, for your friends and family.
