Kids Cooking Camp – Edible science!

Let your inner chef and scientist loose in this class especially for kids aged 8 and up!  We will teach you how to cook a whole range of yummy things, and you’ll dive into the science behind it all as well.  Things that fizz, sizzle, bubble and of course, taste great are on the menu in this full-day class.  Morning tea and lunch are all part of the day, so just bring yourselves in your covered-in shoes and be ready for some seriously good fun.

Length: 5 hours (9:30am to 2:30pm)  Doors open at 9.15am

A myriad of skills are covered in this 5-hour workshop.  You will learn to make fresh pasta and sauce, Biscotti, and that tasty cousin to the pizza, calzone!  You go home with a stack of know-how and all the recipes to create your very own Italian restaurant at home.  Morning tea and lunch are provided.

If you’re keen in the kitchen but want to learn some mad skills to take things to the next level, this is the day for you!  You’ll chop slice and dice your way to new knife skills, you’ll be a ninja-grade kitchen neat freak and you’ll learn how to read recipes and change them to what you want to eat.  Your family is going to love enjoying all the new things you’ve learned as you turn your house into your very own family restaurant.  Morning tea and lunch are provided in this 5-hour workshop.

If you love to bake, but are looking for ways to make your creations even more spectacular, this is the class for you!  Not only will you create your own mini tiered cake, you’ll learn piping skills, chocolate filigree and shards, and work with royal icing.  Morning and afternoon tea, as well as lunch, are provided in this full-day workshop.  See you in the kitchen!

Chinese Cuisine

Cooking for the family – Chinese cuisine with Chef Renee

This class is strictly limited to Primary School Students (Years 3 – Yr 6)

It’s never too early for kids to get involved in cooking at home. In this class for primary school students you will learn to make delicious sweet and sour pork meatballs dish and fried rice. This is guaranteed to become a family favourite! At the conclusion of the class you’ll sit down to enjoy the meal you have created, and you’ll receive all the recipes so you can show off your new skills at home.

Length: 1.5-2 hours (Doors will open at 9.45am)
Type: Hands-on class, then enjoy the goodness created
