Chef Kurt is an acclaimed pastry chef who has worked in hatted restaurants in Australia and Michelin starred restaurants in London.  He has twice won the Chef’s Table award for Clubs in NSW and the Chef of the Year award.  We are thrilled to announce that he is bringing his expertise and flair to Julie’s Place for a tart and pie class.

Unlock the secrets of pastry as you create a savoury pie and a decadent lemon meringue tart.  You will go home with all the recipes and the confidence and know-how you need to recreate these beautiful treats for your friends at home.

Welcome to the world of sweet delights as you learn all you need to know to create decadent and eye-catching desserts. You will not only learn three classic desserts, you will also  learn a range of techniques, tips and garnishes to dress any dessert up for a special occasion. At the conclusion of the class you will enjoy a light lunch with a complimentary glass of wine, you’ll taste some of your creations and take the rest home.

Sweet Escape with Chef Renee (High school students)

This class is strictly limited to High School Students (Yrs 7 – Yr 12)

In this fun class students will make Cherry Ripe fudge brownies and also traditional churros with dipping sauce. Too delicious for words.

Length: 1.5-2 hours (Doors will open at 1.45pm)
Type: Hands-on class, then enjoy the goodness
